Setup Instructions

Student Stations

1. Verify that all materials are present before proceeding to setting up lab.
2. Check that all batteries were removed from fans and begin charging all AA batteries.
3. Place Cart Tracks at the stations matching their number labels
4. Verify tracks are level by placing the cart on the center of the track
   1. If the cart doesn’t remain solidly stationary, then level the track.
5. Attach all fans to carts using 1-2 rubber bands for security
6. Insert fully charged batteries into all fans.
7. Provide extra batteries and rubber bands at the Professor station.

Instructor Station

1.  Verify levels are at front of room.
2. Leave bin of Hackie sacks on instructor station.
3. Place extra fans with charged batteries at instructor station.
4. Verify there are extra available charged batteries in back, charge any uncharged AAs.
5. Verify the free fall demo device is available and some pre done strips are nearby.

Teardown Notes

1. Remove batteries from all fans and place in discharged battery bin.
