Dr. Murtadha A. Khakoo, Professor of Physics, heads up the lab.  In it he and the rest of the lab staff pursue experimental research into electron scattering from fundamental targets (see research).

Ken Hazlett is a physics graduate student.  His main project for the lab thus far was the helium ionization experiment.  In addition to his Teaching Associate work and duties in the lab, Ken acts as webmaster for Dr. Khakoo's site.

Shiyang Wang is a physics graduate student.  She is working with Dr. Khakoo on the Rydberg valance levels of molecular nitrogen.

Vaasu Swaminathan is a high school senior at Troy High School.  He collaborated with Dr. Khakoo on an investigation of the interactions between the high-lying energy states of molecular nitrogen.  He was a regional finalist in the Siemens-Westinghouse 2005 competition.

Eric Schow completed his BS in physics with a minor in mathematics.  His main project for the lab was the data analysis for the helium ionization experiment.  He is now pursuing a PhD in physics at University of California, Irvine.
