Homework assignments for Physics 225, Section 2:

Week 1:

Skim chapter 1. You will likely find that this chapter is quite straightforward. Note especially the following:

· Sample problem 1-1 on unit conversions

· Problem-solving tactic 1 on page 4, on significant figures

· The importance of standards

Read sections 2-1 through 2-5 of Chapter 2. We will continue with the rest of Chapter 2 next week, so you may wish to finish the chapter now.
