Vince reported on the broad progress in computational chemistry involving low-energy electrons and biological molecules. He described his longtime collaboration with Carl and the challenges they have faced over the years to compute electron-driven chemistry while exploiting the rapid advances in computer technology.
Vince presented results of their recent studies of electronic excitation of water and the strong collaboration they have developed with Morty and Leigh and their experiments here at CSUF. Vince highlighted the underlying dynamics of these collisions and the challenges that confront both computations and experiments.
Thank you Vince and Carl for the informative and productive visit!
