The Theoretical Astrophysics in Southern California (TASC) meeting will be held at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF), on Saturday, November 14, 2015, from 9:00AM to 5:30PM (please note the updated times). As with past TASC meetings, the purpose of this meeting is bring together the theoretical astrophysics community in Southern California, including students, postdocs, researchers, and faculty members. 

This meeting is an informal place to know other local researchers in theoretical astrophysics while also getting an overview of the research in theoretical astrophysics going on at nearby universities.

All participants are encouraged to contribute short talks on their research. Equal time will be given to everyone who requests a talk; talks will be approximately 10 minutes.

Registration

Please register for the TASC 2015 meeting using our online form, so that we will know how many people are attending. If you'd like to give a talk, please include a talk title when you register.

Fees: There is no conference fee. However, we ask that participants register so that we can get an accurate estimate of the number of people attending.

Logistics

Update on parking: If you plan to drive to the campus, you'll need to purchase a parking pass ($8/day). Please see the Cal State Fullerton visitor parking page for where to park and how to buy a pass (you can buy one online or at stations on campus).

Dining

There are many good options, both on campus and a short walk off campus, for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. On-campus options include The Gastronome cafeteria and a food court in the Titan Student Union building.

Things to see

The northeast corner of the CSUF campus houses the Fullerton Arboretum, a 26-acre botanical garden. CSUF is about 20 minutes away from Disneyland.
