Attend a Single-Subject Credential Program overview

Apply to the university, if needed


Apply to the Single-Subject Credential Program

  • by February 28 for Fall and September 30 for Spring


Demonstrate basic skills by passing the CBEST

Demonstrate subject matter competency by passing the appropriate California Subject Examination CSET subtests


Complete required prerequisite coursework
